MSF LogoSince 2004, our goal at the Military Spouse Foundation (MSF) has been to be a beacon of hope, support and progress for the military spouse community. With our dedicated team of mentors, career advisors and fellow military spouses, the MSF has been committed to providing professional and career guidance tailored to the unique lifestyle of the military spouse.

Having our finger on the pulse of the military spouse community and knowing the challenges faced by spouses first hand, we realized that there is a growing need for targeted education and guidance with training applicable to the “real world” of a military spouse. Our answer to that need was to develop a new online resource. The MSF career planning and entrepreneurial training center is meant to bridge the gap felt in the community between career planning and education and the transient lifestyle of the military spouse.

Through this program we help identify and assess a spouse’s goals, talents and abilities in order to pursue and succeed in his or her chosen career or business. We accomplish that through a unique combination of self-awareness, online education, one-on-one mentoring and an online community made up of military spouses. Bottom line, we help military spouses build a career or business around their unique circumstances and support them at every juncture along their way to financial and professional success.

Curriculum
Course One is the completely complimentary Mil-Spouse Planning & Self-Evaluation course, which is the foundation of our curriculum developed to help you determine a career path. Highlights include a personal, professional MSF Mentor, tools to assess your transferable skills, career path overview, self-assessment/evaluation and certificate upon completion.

Course Two is the Mil-Spouse Advanced Training & Strategies course. Once you've determined your career path, we'll get you ready to take the next step, taking you down the Professional Track or the Entrepreneurial Track. Both the Career Enhancement Certificate Program™ and the FastTrac® Certificate Program for Entrepreneurs™ have tuition of $1,900. However, once accepted into the MSF curriculum, most military spouses will be completely funded by government grants, scholarships and other resources.  Military Spouse Foundation is in the process of applying for approval for MyCAA funding, and is awaiting further notice.

Partnerships
This curriculum has only been made possible through partnerships with LogicBay Corporation and Kauffman FastTrack®. LogicBay Corporation is a veteran-founded, venture-backed provider of Partner Relationship Management ("PRM") solutions with deep experience in instructional design and online learning delivery. LogicBay's core software product, the Enrichment Center™, is a portal solution that organizations implement to deliver training, manage indirect sales channels, increase revenues, reduce costs and improve profitability.

Kauffman FastTrac®, a leading provider of high-quality learning experiences and networks specific to innovation and entrepreneurship, is a 501(c)(3) that offers access to consistent, high-quality entrepreneurial programs, resources and an ecosystem to support current and future business owners before, during and after the startup process.

About MSF
The Military Spouse Foundation has applied for recognition of tax exemption under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and has also received an endorsement from MOAA, the Military Officers Association of America. Aiding our momentum is the new MSF blog, which spouses use as a go-to resource for more information on the program, the courses and how to get involved in the community.

We are so excited and proud to be leading the charge for career enhancement on behalf of the military spouse community. Individuals who choose a career in the military have chosen to serve their country. If you’re a military spouse, our Foundation has chosen to serve you.
