Career Prep Rally and Workshop Program - Week by Week - The Spouse Experience

The training that you’ll receive from the Military Spouse Foundation is unlike any other career program. The 8 weeks of career preparation training helps you to articulate exactly WHAT you want, and HOW you can get it. It will prepare you to pursue either a professional career or to start your own business. Throughout the program, you will also be introduced to a professional team of recruiters that will take you through the hiring process for a comprehensive experience – focused on your goals. The workshop will cover:

Week 1: Introduction to the Program

Week 2: Identify Accomplishments/Develop PAR Statements

Week 3: Complete Inventory of Proven Transferable Skills

Week 4: Explore the Three Career Tracks

Week 5: Develop Networking Skills

Week 6: Building a Master Resume/Building Your Resume

Week 7: Interviewing Skills / Webinar Introduction to MSCCN (Recruiting Partner)

Week 8: EDU Center Career Fair, Industry Experts and Community Meet and Greet
